OMAFRA would like to invite you to participate in a priority setting conference call for hops on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 2:00PM-3:00PM.

When: Fri Nov 28, 2014 2pm – 3pm Eastern Time – Toronto
Where: Call 1-866-633-1033
When prompted, type pass code: 5226740, followed by the pound key.
For those not familiar with this process, this is an exercise done annually to prioritize pests and pest control products on all commodities grown in Ontario.
The information gathered during these calls is used to create a national list that will guide pest control product registration activities in Canada for the coming year.
This process considers both conventional and organic products.  Grower input is vital to this process During the call, OMAFRA’s Minor Use Coordinator, Jim Chaput, will provide an update on product registrations and we will discuss current pest control product requirements for your crop.
Melanie Filotas has provided several relevant documents to review in advance of the call, so if you are interested, see below – if possible, growers are asked to inform Melanie, or a member of the OHGA of their intent to participate, so they can have a handle on the number of participants..
If you are unable to make this call, please let us know your concerns in advance and OHGA will forward them on to Melanie so they can try to address them during the call.
